Let yourself be captivated by the magic of Andalusia and use Casa Melocotón as a starting point for wonderful beach days or adventurous excursions to the Andalusian countryside. Make exciting excursions to the centuries-old cultural heritage of European, Jewish and Oriental origin. There are no limits to sporting activities here: play a few rounds of golf on the Baviera golf course directly behind the house or on one of the numerous golf courses in the immediate vicinity. Hike in the nearby mountains or treat yourself to a relaxing day’s skiing in Sierra Nevada, just two hours away.

Situated about 35 km east of Malaga, in the much more unspoilt and thus less developed part of the Costa del Sol, is a holiday season all year round.

An exclusive facilities, 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers, a guest toilet, two private terraces and a 6x3m salt water pool leave nothing to be desired. The house is situated directly at the popular Baviera golf course (18-hole) and only 15 minutes walk to the beach of Torre del Mar. Several supermarkets can be reached in a few minutes and around the port of Caleta de Vélez there are many restaurants and small chiringuitos.

Location

The Casa Melocotón is located in Caleta de Veléz, a municipality about 35 km east of Malaga. Even in the high season ,it is a bit quieter and more peaceful here than in the tourist centres of the Costa del Sol such as Marbella or Estepona.

The very wide sandy beach, equipped with first-class infrastructure, is only a short 15-minute walk away after just one kilometer. Here you will find a beautiful promenade that stretches all the way to Torre del Mar, one of the longest in Spain.

The marina of Caleta de Velez with its numerous fishing boats and small motor yachts can also be found here. In the surrounding alleys, you will find several restaurants and on the beach the typical chiringuitos of southern Spain. A little further on towards Torre del Mar there are numerous bars and of course restaurants for almost every taste.

There are many shopping facilities nearby. An Aldi is within walking distance and in a few minutes by car you will find further supermarkets (SuperSol, Lidl and Mercadona) as well as the shopping mall “El Ingenio”. There is also a baker and butcher in Caleta de Velez.

From Casa Melocotón you have an excellent starting point for numerous excursions. Malaga is only 30 minutes away by car. To Marbella you drive 1 hour and 20 minutes, approx. 2 hours to Gibraltar, Seville you reach in approx. 3 hours. The mountains of the Sierra Nevada are only 2 hours away and Granada is only 90 minutes away. The Aquavelis water park is only a 10-minute drive away.

The Casa Melocotón is conveniently located. From the airport, it is barely more than 35 minutes by car via the Medidterráneo motorway. As soon as you have left the motorway in Caleta de Velez, you have reached your holiday destination.

Facilities

The houses were designed by the famous Spanish architect Joaquin Torres. The adjacent golf course has had a decisive influence on its architectural style. Clear lines alternate with characteristic organic shapes inspired by the aesthetics of golf.

The house captivates by its light-flooded and generous construction method. On the ground floor there is a spacious living and dining area, a well-equipped open kitchen and a guest toilet.

On the upper floor there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers. The house also has a 6 x 3 m salt water pool and two terraces where you can enjoy the sun from morning to night.

All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes with ample storage space during your holiday.
