Situated about 35 km east of Málaga, in the authentic, less touristy stretch of the Costa del Sol, this is a year-round paradise.

Casa Melocotón sits in Caleta de Veléz, a charming village about 35 km east of Málaga. Even during peak season, this peaceful corner of Andalusia feels wonderfully relaxed compared to the bustling hotspots of the Costa del Sol like Marbella or Estepona.

The broad, beautifully maintained sandy beach with excellent facilities is just a leisurely 15-minute walk away—less than a kilometer from the house. You'll find a stunning promenade stretching all the way to Torre del Mar, one of Spain's longest, perfect for evening strolls and sunset views.

The charming marina at Caleta de Velez, dotted with fishing boats and small yachts, is right at your doorstep. Wander the nearby streets and discover local restaurants and authentic beach chiringuitos—those beloved casual beach bars that capture the spirit of southern Spain. Head toward Torre del Mar and you'll find an enticing mix of bars and restaurants to suit every palate.

You'll find everything you need nearby. There's a convenient Aldi within walking distance, and just a few minutes by car you'll discover SuperSol, Lidl, and Mercadona supermarkets, plus the shopping mall "El Ingenio." You'll also find a local bakery and butcher right in Caleta de Velez.
